Exporting reports

Save a review for your team or prepare a minimal support report.

Save the current review

  1. Finish the review and check its status and coverage.
  2. Click Export report…, edit Report name if needed, and use Choose folder… to select the location. The default name is RowTether Report YYYY-MM-DD HH-MM-SS (local time). Review the destination shown, then click Export report.
  3. For a partial or cancelled run, use Export incomplete report explicitly.

The named report folder opens after a successful export. If that name already exists, choose another name; existing reports are never overwritten. The folder contains JSON for structured results, CSV for tabular review and HTML for reading in a browser.

The HTML report includes a coverage summary, severity labels, readable source names and expandable technical details. Use your browser’s Print command to print or save it as PDF. It works offline. CSV uses UTF-8 with a byte-order mark for Excel; JSON retains the complete structured report.

Files, safety and privacy

Export creates a new run directory with JSON, CSV and HTML. JSON contains all captured relationships, findings, plugin/engine versions, fingerprints, status and coverage. Incomplete results require the separate Export incomplete report action.

All files are staged and read back before publication. Existing exports are preserved. Filesystem links and traversal are rejected: choose an ordinary local output folder if a cloud placeholder or junction is refused. HTML escapes source text; CSV protects formula prefixes. Fingerprints describe captured semantics and are not security signatures.

There is no automatic upload, telemetry, listener or Telegram integration. Reports can contain project paths, row names and values. Review them before voluntarily sharing with support.
